Whether directing a script of her own, or being tasked with bringing another playwright's words and vision to life, Sami prides herself in  directing with these two philosophies.  As a director, she creates a safe, creative environment where she and the actors can explore the world of the playwright, as well as pouring over small moments found in the rehearsal room that elevate any scene she directs.
